Amazing Network of Nonprofits Work Tirelessly to Care for Liberty Hill
August 4, 2025
Ensuring our community is a supportive place to live, work, and grow is the ultimate goal of the Liberty Hill Economic Development Corporation (LHEDC). And thanks to our network of nonprofits both large and small, together we’re able to thoughtfully address the needs of our residents.
As we celebrate National Nonprofit Day on August 17, we wanted to thank these organizations for their ongoing support in making our community a truly special place. Whether it's during a time of widespread crisis or simply as a helping hand to support us individually as we navigate a challenging season in our lives, they continue to go above and beyond to ensure our needs are met.
We also applaud the widespread effort of our residents and business owners who did not hesitate to help out in any way they could following the destructive flooding in July. We’re in awe of the inspiring community spirit of our neighborhood.

A Sense of CommUNITY
Liberty Hill is blessed to be supported by a network of nonprofits that work tirelessly to provide care and services to all who need them, including:
Hope House: Provides lifelong care for profoundly disabled children and adults. LHEDC is also proud of the way our residents poured out their support to this beloved organization, which suffered devastating losses as a result of the recent flooding. Thank you to the hundreds of volunteers who helped Hope House clean up from the water damage and get it ready to welcome back those it serves.
Operation Liberty Hill: Caring for the community by meeting their fundamental needs and rooted in the Biblical call to love and serve one another.
The Market LHTX: The warm and inviting atmosphere draws local artisan vendors for a day of family-friendly fun.
Workforce Solutions: Provides specialized services including career training, scholarships, job search assistance, apprenticeship programs, and more… all at no cost.
Yesterday’s Gone: A place to live, a place to heal. Assisting women who have suffered abuse by offering them housing, life coach services, and access to a variety of local resources to promote healing and self-sustainability.
L4 Cares: Supporting families during the most difficult challenges, including children who are battling terminal illnesses and military families in need.
Liberty Hill Education Foundation: Since 2019, this community member-led organization has been supporting the students, staff, and educators of Liberty Hill Independent School District through innovative funding.
XXLHOPE: Inspiring, mentoring, and teaching business and life skills to the youth of Central Texas.
Lions Club of Liberty Hill: Dedicated to humanitarian efforts to improve the health and well-being of children and adults.
If you are able to volunteer your time and/or talents, we hope you’ll consider reaching out to any one of these invaluable organizations!
