Through our partnership with business owners both large and small, together we’re able to thoughtfully help drive economic growth and prosperity in the area. 

As we celebrate National Economic Development Week (May 11-17), we wanted to share more about who we are, what we do, and thank you for your ongoing support and partnership in making our community a wonderful place.

With a vision of making Liberty Hill a prosperous, charming lifetime destination, our mission is deeply rooted in a desire to facilitate positive, healthy and self-sustaining growth for the community.

We do this by attracting and retaining a wide range of corporations, industries and small businesses to the community. In turn, these companies provide primary jobs for residents and stimulate the economy, creating a higher quality of life for Liberty Hill.

Putting Words into Action

Our three-year action economic development plan keeps us in pursuit of continued growth with the goal of creating a vibrant community for all to enjoy; one that includes a dynamic, local business base and a diverse workforce that’s filled with new and exciting opportunities.

This in-depth plan is designed to take Liberty Hill to the next level in a sustainable way by identifying specific goals and actions that can build on our community’s unique strengths, abundant assets and distinct characteristics.

We’re a Certified B

Did you know LHEDC is also a Certified Type B Corporation?

Obtaining Certified B status means we’ve been recognized for meeting high standards of verified performance, accountability and transparency by B Labs, an international, nonprofit organization that was created to change the rules of the economic game by setting new standards designed to shift the behavior and culture of capitalism. Their goal? Balance profit with purpose.
