Your Partner For a Thriving, Vibrant Business in 2026!
December 22, 2025
Ensuring our community is a wonderful place to run a business is one of the goals of the Liberty Hill Economic Development Corporation (LHEDC).
By partnering with local community stakeholders like the Liberty Hill Chamber of Commerce, we’re able to connect our entrepreneurs with the resources, funding, and skilled workers they need to take their operations to the next level.
“These partnerships are crucial to the success of Liberty Hill,” said LHEDC project manager Yvonne Castillo. “We’re proud of the ongoing collaboration we have within our community to ensure that our small business owners can achieve great things.”
Are you ready for a more thriving, vibrant business in 2026?
What’s the Role of the Liberty Hill EDC?
On any given day, you will find us helping business and community leaders with economic development strategies, discussing workforce development and training options, talking about social media marketing tactics, or just listening to business ideas and offering feedback.
These are all crucial for enhancing Liberty Hill’s economic well-being, wealth, and overall quality of life. Because at its core, economic development involves a range of activities that are designed to attract, create, and retain jobs to foster a resilient and growing community.
It’s a collaborative effort, though; one that requires close coordination between businesses, government entities, and various community stakeholders to achieve sustainable success.
By working together, we can all ensure that business is done right in Liberty Hill!
Can LHEDC Finance New and Expanding Businesses?
Yes! The LHEDC is also a Type B EDC.
This status allows us by law to finance new and expanded businesses in the local community, including industrial development, parks, museums, sports facilities and more!
The only requirement is that businesses bring new money to the area through job creation or retention.
By doing so, these businesses become eligible for a variety of incentives including:
- Abatements or rebates
- Fee or infrastructure reimbursement
- Training dollars for new or existing employees
- Super Freeport exemption
