Liberty Hill, Texas, a rapidly growing community, recently hosted a landmark event that brought together diverse stakeholders under one roof. The First Developers' Coalition of Liberty Hill, organized by the Liberty Hill Economic Development Corporation and the Liberty Hill Chamber of Commerce, was a resounding success. This gathering provided a unique platform for dialogue and collaboration among city and county officials, developers, and the community. The event was divided into a panel discussion and a comprehensive bus tour, each offering valuable insights into the town's development landscape.

The State of the City & Development: A Panel Discussion

The coalition started with a dynamic panel discussion on "The State of the City & Development," featuring key figures from various sectors. The panel included:

    • Bob Daigh, Senior Director of Infrastructure at Williamson County
    • Nick McIntyre, Vice President of Perry Homes
    • Anthony Lincoln, Fire Chief at Williamson County ESD#4
    • Justin Day, Managing Director at Intrepid Equity Investments
    • Stephan Zaparolli, Planner for the City of Liberty Hill
    • James Herrera, Project Manager for the City of Liberty Hill

Jennifer Pohl Jensen opened the discussion with insights into commercial real estate trends, while Bob Daigh provided an overview of infrastructure planning at the county level. Nick McIntyre discussed residential development and the housing market's future. Fire Chief Anthony Lincoln emphasized the importance of safety and emergency preparedness in urban planning. Justin Day shared his perspective on investment opportunities, and city representative Stephan Zaparolli shed light on the local government's approach to planning and development.

The panel addressed critical topics such as infrastructure challenges, future planning, and the collaborative processes required to manage Liberty Hill's rapid expansion. Audience members had the chance to ask questions, leading to a deeper understanding of the multi-faceted efforts that drive the city's development.

Exploring Liberty Hill: The Developers' Bus Tour

Following the insightful discussions, attendees embarked on a bus tour to witness firsthand the sites of ongoing and future projects in Liberty Hill. This tour provided a unique opportunity for participants to visualize the city's growth trajectory and understand the development scope.
The tour included four significant projects, each at different stages of development:

    1. District 29  - Anthony Gonzales, Commercial Real Estate Advisor for Commercial Market Exchange, highlighted the commercial potential of this mixed-use development.
    2. Project Redo -  Mick Hawton, Headwater's Chief Strategy Officer, discussed the ambitious redevelopment plans to revitalize key areas.
    3. Platform 183 X 29 - Zach Rigby, from Intrepid Equity Investments, showcased this significant commercial and industrial project, emphasizing its future impact on local employment.
