More than ‘meats’ the eye

New Liberty Hill-based business MadBoardsTX focuses on creating unique charcuterie boards and spreads for everything from large gatherings to small family get-togethers.
Merrill Madison, a senior at Liberty Hill High School, is the brains behind the operation. She started the business just a few months ago and has already found success throughout the community, providing charcuterie cups for the Deck the Hill Holiday Home Tour and a tasting bar at a recent wedding expo at Lone Star Oaks in Liberty Hill.
“About two years ago I kept seeing this ‘charcuterie’ thing on Instagram and TikTok and thought, ‘I can probably do that,’” Madison said. “After lots of makeshift game-day boards and practice, I started getting the hang of it. The majority of what I have learned has come from Instagram tutorials, as well as trial and error.”
